Pen Picture

I am an associate professor of Ehime University.

My previous interest was in building a parallel parser for HPSG framework using parallel machines, robust parsing for HPSG, database management systems for feature structures, knowledge representation for DB, and grammar engineering. My current interest is online learning and feature selection in Machine Learning and parsing, sequential labeling, machine translation using synchronous HPSG in Natural Language Processing.
