Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Computer Science, Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Ehime University
I am a professor of Ehime University. I was awarded a BSc in 1996, a MSc in 1998 and a PhD in 2001 from the University of Tokyo, supervised by Prof. Jun’ichi Tsujii. I was a research fellow of JST from 2001 until 2006, working for the CREST project headed by Prof. Jun’ichi Tsujii. I was a lecturer of the Digital Library Research Division headed by Prof. Hiroshi Nakagawa in the Information Technology Center, the University of Tokyo from 2006 until 2010. I was an associate professor of Ehime University from 2010 until 2017. My previous interest was in parallel parsing for HPSG, robust parsing for HPSG, database management systems for feature structures, grammar engineering for HPSG, supertagger for HPSG, online learning and feature selection. My current interest is in precision POS tagger, Japanese HPSG parsing with case analyses, summarization, grammatical error correction and machine translation.
